A licensed Teddington practice, working UK-wide since 2012

We support individuals, sole traders and limited companies. The practice is led by Marzena Wagner FMAAT, a licensed accountant with a law degree and a particular interest in taxation.

The team

A named team, not a call centre. We work in the office and fully remotely, and we speak English and Polish — the polska wersja tej strony is the same practice, described for someone whose tax sits in two countries. Fees go in writing before you sign.

What being a licensed practice actually commits us to

Anyone may call themselves an accountant in the UK; the title is not protected. A licence is the part that carries obligations, so it is worth knowing what they are.

Professional indemnity cover

A licensed practice has to hold it, at a level set by the AAT rather than chosen by us. It is what stands behind our work if we get something wrong.

Supervision and identity checks

We are supervised for anti-money-laundering purposes, which is why every new client goes through identity checks. It is a legal obligation on us and not something we can waive as a favour.

Continuing training

Tax changes every year, and keeping up with it is a condition of holding the licence rather than an optional extra. Making Tax Digital is the current example: what it means in practice.

A published complaints route

Ours is on the complaints page, and it does not end with us: if you are not satisfied with how we handle something, it sets out how to take it to the AAT.

Who we work with

Broad at the individual end, specific at the company end. Most of the work falls into these five, and each one goes to the page that covers it.

How the work runs

Whether you are down the road in Teddington or have never met us in person, the mechanics are the same, and they are set out in full in how we work.

  • Books in Xero or QuickBooks, receipts through Dext
  • Documents through the client portal rather than email
  • Reminders before deadlines, not after them
  • Fee protection included on every personal return we prepare

Coming from another accountant?

You do not need to wait for a year end, and the handover is mostly our job. Changing accountants sets out the six steps and what can hold one up.
